(Mostly) Organized

“(Mostly) Organized” is a group of illustrations I made. The first (top) consists of four books with a candle on top and a hair clip in front.

I did this assignment for one of my classes. The assignment was to take some random objects in your room and use Adobe Fresco to draw them, so I did just that. I took four of my books and placed one of my candles on top. I thought this was too simple, so I added a purple hair clip. I made the background gray to keep the focus on the objects. I wanted the focus to be specifically on the yellow candle and purple hair clip.

The second (bottom) is a still life I made in Adobe Illustrator. I placed three different shoes and placed them where the boot was the center of attention because it was my favorite shoe. I then made the converse shoe behind the boot and the other shoe to the other side. I made that shoe sideways to see the bottom of the shoe, did this because I thought the under part of the shoe was more interesting than the other part of the shoe. I put everything in gray scale because it made everything look more together.
