Crusté

“Crusté” is a brand I made for a skincare company. It is a brand that mocks other skin care brands. In my skincare I put all ingredients that are not actually good for your skin, but many brands use it in their products. I name it “Crusté” because it is supposed to make your skin crusty, but I needed it to sound more formal and make you want to buy it.

I started this project by making the bottles label in Adobe Illustrator. I put my brand name at the top and then the description of the product and lastly some of the ingredients. It is supposed to look like every other skin care. I put the pink lines to add more color to the label, but I did not want to make it look too much, I wanted to keep it clean and simple. I then moved to Adobe Dimension and put it on bottle that resembles other skin care bottles. I then put the texture of the moisturizer behind the bottle using Adobe Photoshop. I made it crusty just like the name.

I also made a box for my product. I again made the label in Adobe Illustrator. I made it very similar to my bottle because they are supposed to belong together. I then moved it to Adobe Dimension to make the box three-dimensional and put it on a bathroom counter, where you would find it if it were real.
