Trojan Mexican

“Trojan Mexican” is a group of posters I made in one of my classes. The assignment was to make signs to put on booths at our local restaurant called Trojans Mexican.

I used Adobe Illustrator. For the first poster (top) I wanted to make piñatas because when I think of Mexican food I think of celebrating, specifically with piñatas. I made the first and thought it needed more so I added two more. Then I put the confetti behind it using the same colors to make it really look like a celebration.

To make the second poster (middle) I wanted to make a landscape of the desert in Mexico. I first started off with the blue mountains. Then I added an orange sunset to contrast with the mountains. Then I made the sand. Lastly, I made the cacti. I put these all around the bottom to make it look like a desert. I put them around randomly to make the whole thing interesting.

For my last design (bottom) I wanted to make some margaritas. I did this because Mexican restaurants are known for their margaritas. I made four different flavors: mango, strawberry, lime, and a blue margarita. Then I added a sombrero in replace of a lime to make it more festive.
