Music Poster

“Music Poster” is a piece I made for one of my classes. I used Adobe Illustrator to create all of it. The project was to make a poster for one of our events at Troy University. We were given all the text information and logos and designed everything from there.

I started out by making the music sheets. I chose the song “Fly Me to the Moon” because it is a basic song that many people know, especially people who play an instrument. I then made the sheet look very worn and torn because it gives the idea of being used and loved. It also makes it look rustic and antique which helps give a feeling of nostalgia. I then chose to make the background a dark blue. I did this because it contrasts with the color of the music sheets well. I then added all the text that was given. I chose white because it contrasted everything and made it easier to read. I tried to keep everything in this posterclean and organized.

I loved doing this project because I was able to be creative and make something for my school. I had many ideas for this, but this was my favorite idea, and it came out just how I wanted it.
