Floral Patterns
To create “Floral Patterns” I used Adobe Fresco and Adobe Illustrator. I started in Fresco with creating each of the flowers. I started with the blue hydrangea using the wet brush in the pixel brushes. I then made the blue rose, lavender, baby’s breath, and pansy. I made all these flowers blue because I wanted them all to be monochromatic and the blue was to focus on the hydrangeas. I then made all the same flowers but using pink, purple, green, and blue. I chose these colors because they are the colors that the flowers usually are. I made them all pastel because I thought the colors would go well together and I did not want any of the colors to stick out more than the rest.
Next, I moved to Illustrator. In Illustrator I used the pattern tool to make all the different patterns. I then added a background. I then made mockups of curtains and bed sheets because when I was making the patterns I thought they would go well in home decor such as those two things.
