Easter Lily
To create “Easter Lily” I used Adobe Fresco and Adobe Illustrator. I started in Adobe Illustrator too create the lead lines. Next, I moved to Fresco to create the glass parts. I started with the base colors of every piece. I wanted to use bright colors to represent light coming through the glass. I then focused in one color at a time and used a brush to create texture. I also used a lighter and darker shade of the color. I chose to do each color a different texture for each glass because this is similar to how it in most windows. I used these specific textures and brushes because they resemble the textures on many windows. I made the lead lines a dark brown because I thought a gold was too light and wanted more contrast, but I did not want to do straight black because it made too much contrast.
This was based off a church’s stained-glass window, when I was making it, it was Easter time which is why I chose to do a lily. Lilys are also one of my favorite flowers and I love the colors, especially the pink one. I loved how this turned out especially the bright colors.
