Everyday Items

“Everyday Items” is a group of projects I had made of cardboard. I used exacto knifes and glue to make all of them.

To make the first (top left) I started out using paper as a template and the traced it onto the cardboard and cut it out. The bunny does not have glue on it, instead I used more cardboard to keep everything attached.

To make the second (top right) I cut out the mask the size of my face. I then took off the backside of the mask so I would be able to curve the mask, and I glued it so it would keep the shape. I then glued on all the decoration. I took off the top layer of the cardboard so the decorations would be easier to see. I then glued the two masks together to make one.

To make the last (bottom) I stared long and hard at a normal pair of scissors to see how they function. I then took that and made it real. I also made them big. The scissors are about five feet in height. I also made them function, so the two “blades” move back and forth.
