Bandit

For “Bandit” I used Scratch paper. The paper itself was black, and I had to remove it with a wooden pen to reveal the white, or the highlights, of the piece. I chose to do my grandmother’s dog because he means a lot to me. All of the white parts I created on his hair are the light brown spots on his hair, while all the black spots are where he is black.

I had to use many new techniques on this piece because this is not the way we normally draw because I was adding the light parts of the drawing not the dark parts. I still really enjoyed doing this and once I was finished, I gave it to my grandmother so she can remember her Bandit forever.
