Troy Posters
For the “Troy Posters” I made six different posters for Troy University using Adobe Illustrator. I used sayings, colors, and fonts that the University has been marketing with.
For the first one I chose to do the phrase “All ways real. Always TROY.” I then chose to just use rectangles and put them around the words and behind the words. I then made all the colors contrast with each other.
For the second one I chose the phrase “Unlock the real you.” I then chose to put a lock behind the words. I went through many adaptations of this where the lock was opaque and on top and then changed the colors of the words in the lock, but after all of that I chose to just do a gray lock in the back because I thought it looked the best out of all of them.
For the third I scattered the letters in “TROY” and outlined them to make the background. I then added the phrase “Why TROY?” in the bottom corner because I wanted the main focus to be on the scattered letters.
For my fourth I chose the phrase “At TROY, you can do it all!” I made most of the words connect and made them go down in a diagonal way. I then put the word “TROY” in the background in the same diagonal as the other words.
For my fifth poster I used the phrase “Leading by example.” I then made flowy patterns with changing to colors to make it appear like an optical illusion.
For my sixth poster I used the phrase “All ways real. Always TROY.” I then used the paint brush feature and made it appear like someone splattered paint all over the canvas.
